Updated: Dec 29, 2021

With some ingenuity, city children can also have their personal barn. Create a little farm to learn about how animals contribute to our lives.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Suitable For: 4 - 5 years old

Estimated Time: 15 - 30 mins

Environment: Indoors

Materials:

  • Assorted Colours Paper

  • Newspaper

  • Marker Pen

  • Glue

  • Wooden Pegs

  • Cotton Wool

  • Scissors

Step 1:

Draw the body of a sheep on a piece of paper and cut it out.

Step 2:

Apply glue on it. Use a sheet of newspaper to keep your workspace neat.

Step 3:

Pat a cotton pad all over the glued surface to fluff up the wool.

Step 4:

Draw and cut out the head, eyes and ears of the sheep.

Step 5:

Glue the facial features together.

Step 6:

Apply glue to the back of the head and paste it onto the body.

Step 7:

Paint the non-clipping end of the wooden pegs black. Clip them onto the sheep to form its legs.

Step 8:

Make a few more animals and create your very own barn!
