We celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) on the 3rd of May at the Flower Field Hall at Gardens by the Bay. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter! This special occasion marked a decade of empowering young minds to dream big and make a difference, and it was an unforgettable celebration of the incredible impact SSDB has had over the years.This milestone event was made even more special by the heartwarming performances of our young children from various preschools, whose songs, dances, and cheerful spirits filled the hall with laughter and excitement. We were honored to have Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development to join us on this special occasion!
This year, SSDB reached new heights with close to 80,000 children from 1200 preschools joining the movement. We have truly witnessed the power of dreams and the profound impact they can have on our communities. Each child's unique contribution is a testament to the collective effort in making a difference, no matter how small the beginning may be.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all preschools that participated in these delightful performances. Your contributions were one of the highlights of our celebration, bringing
smiles to everyone present and showcasing the incredible talent and enthusiasm of our children.
To add to the festivities, this year each child received a special SSDB goodie bag, a small token of appreciation for their hard work and participation. They even got to bring home the craft activities that they did on that day, showcasing their best artistic skills in the crafts they made!
